This video was a lot of fun to make. While traveling in China for work I decided to stay on track with eating (for the most part) and training. This workout in china involved both legs an shoulders. It’s the first video I have decided to post on my personal fitness YouTube channel (JBarkFit).
I have other channels, but they’re a different format than what I am used to. It’s hard for me to get out in front of the camera. It feels awkward. Looking back at the video I seem a little tense and scripted, but I am sure I’ll get used to being on camera over time as I produce more videos. I have a pretty solid plan for this channel moving forward and intend to post a new video each week. Here are some topics I plan to cover:
- Workout Routines and Exercise Tips
- Meal Prep and Nutrition Videos
- Supplement and Product Reviews
- Personal Fitness Goals and Progress
I will add more to the channel over time, and cover other content here and there, but the above items are a fairly good start at where I am headed. As for my fitness goals, I’ll also sort of use this channel as a way to hold myself accountable for my progress and decisions I make along the way. I’ve always had a decent grasp on how my body reacts to certain amounts of food or exercise when it comes to losing weight or building muscle, and I seek to learn more every day. I enjoy watching a few individuals on YouTube when it comes to Fitness, and you may have heard of some of them. Jeff Nippard has a channel which is very science-centered, and shares his story of competing as a Natural Body Builder. His girlfriend, at the time of writing this post, is Stephanie Buttermore, Ph.D. Her channel shares a lot of scientific literature as well, and is an excellent companion to Jeff’s channel as they continue to grow together. Lastly, but not least, Dana Linn Bailey has been a huge role model for Natalee and I ever since we had the opportunity to meet them in person at Mr. Olympia.
